Synergy Schools Solar Challenge

The Year 6s were given the opportunity to participate in the 2018 Synergy Schools Solar Challenge. Students had to work in their lunchtimes to learn how to construct solar cars. This involved knowledge of circuitry and following specific criteria. The winning team from our school will be going to compete in the West Semi-Final on Thursday 5th April. The Year 6s have been working hard to create their solar cars and problem solve. Here are some photos of them hard at work.



Room 9 Assembly

Last Friday, 20 October, Room 9 topped off Water Week with running their school assembly. The day was ‘Blue Dress–up Day’ for the whole school and the Year 3’s sang `The Water Song-Don’t Waste Water`. 2017 Faction Athletics Carnival

The 2017 Athletics Carnival went ahead in fantastic weather conditions which made for an enjoyable day of physical activity. Year 2 Excursion – Peninsula Farm

On 1 August, the Year 2 students from Room 3 and 4 went on an excursion to Peninsula Farm to learn about life in the past. They were told stories about the Hardey family, explored their old house, made windmills and participated in old fashioned games, such as quoits, skipping and hopscotch.

Pre-primary 1 Assembly
