NAIDOC Week is celebrated across the country from 7-14 July this year. As this falls in school holidays, we recognised this important event early on 21 June with a dance from the Moorditj Mob.
The Moorditj Mob are a group of Indigenous students from Wesley College who visit schools to spread cultural awareness. Derek headed-up the group and told the stories behind each dance performed, and there were lots of opportunities for Camboon students to participate.
We sincerely thank this group of Wesley students for sharing their knowledge with us, and for providing an entertaining performance.
